Rise Up Kids

Ana Gaspar

In the Kingdom of God, the structure of the Kingdom is established. There is a great focus on wanting to understand the positions of each person in the Kingdom. And Jesus took his time to explain to us that we should serve one another as if we were serving him. Let our position not be one of wanting to hold a higher place than your neighbor. And that is why he gives children as an example. As adults, we often forget that they are also children of God and should be treated like Jesus: with love, honor, respect, and joy. The role played by each of our children's servants is so essential because we are ensuring that the seed of God's faith is planted in them and that the gospel of Jesus Christ continues to be preached. None of us as adults will reach the next generation in 50 to 100 years. But our children will have children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren whom we long for to know God. And that seed is sown in our work, service, and commitment today. If you and I are not millionaires, but we want to leave a legacy that surpasses the value of the most precious stones, our legacy is the gospel, love, and faith for our children.
